Alone in the jungle
Alone in the jungle, where the wild things roam, Fighting with all the predators, that seek to make me their home. The dense foliage closes in, like a prison cell door, Leaving me to face my fears, and the darkness that I've been fighting for. Being in the jungle, climbing every mountain high, Through the misty valleys, and the treacherous, winding sky. The storm rages on, with thunderous might, Trying to find peace, in the midst of the tempestuous night. In the jungle, you don't cry, cause there's no one to cry to, You have to learn to be strong, to be able to stand, when standing is not easy to do. No lavish life in the jungle, no luxuries to abide, Just the raw, untamed wilderness, where only the strongest survive. But it's in this wilderness, that I've found my inner strength, A resilience that's been forged, in the fire of my deepest length. It's here that I've learned to adapt, to evolve, and to thrive, To find solace in the silence, and to discover my inner drive. The jungle may be unforgiving, but it's also a teacher true, It's taught me to be resourceful, to be brave, and to see this journey through. It's shown me that I'm capable, of overcoming any test, And that I'm stronger than I thought.
