alone in the dark
as i gaze into the darkness of a still room I see the silhouette of a fan and light from the bottom of my door I used to have you to hold me or you to hold now impending doom laying lonely and silent not knowing what my arms are for. in the day I still lay silent looking at every picture on the wall every last memory, gut wrenching of us I wish I had no memory of you no memory at all no reason for me to break cry or cuss. I hate this lack of your body lack of sound your snoring used to keep me awake but I want to hear it no sleep can now be found so in the darkness of my room I just sit alone in our room I am found wanting alone I am kept surrounded by nothing and everything alone is never a place to be left haunting alone us just alone which is depressing
