Alone
As a little girl, In the cold winter burr, I often sat alone. Away from the cozy fire, Where my family sat around. It often felt like I didn't belong. Not with them along. I was always pushed around. I was bound. Feeling like a rag doll. They laughed at me. They threw trash at me. Sometimes it was words they threw. Those words often burned me through. It got to the point where it didn't feel like home. The one whom was supposed to be a mother, Treated me like another. And I had to teach myself the ways of the world. Alone in the cold winter burr.
