Alone
No one knows how hard this is, within my troubled mind, The voices echo ceaselessly, illusions intertwined. Seeing things that aren't really there, they haunt me night and day, How can I tell my family that their lives they might betray? Explaining the voices' murderous intent, my throat now clenched with dread, So I retreat to the outside world, where sanity's threads are spread. For in their absence, I may find respite, this chaos left behind, Hoping that without their presence, peace I'll eventually find.
