ALONE

Life was miserable,no one to share my thoughts. My soul was empty, a deep dark void Then a person came in my life She had a charming smile With a smile she approached to me, And ask me to be her friend. I was startled at the beginning,my heart was filled with joy My world which was once a shade of gray, Gained vibrant hue with each passing day. Her presence cleared the fog in my miserable life We shared many stories, whispered many thoughts and laughed for hours She made me feel special in those fleeting hours. But the day came when it all stopped She started ignoring me and I was left alone. The vibrant hue,once a joyous display Faded to a dull ache with each passing day But than I realised that it was all an illusion And I was left in my own dreadful delusion
