ALONE
Sitting on a hill, in the welcome shade of an ancient Oak. In warm May sunshine a gentle breeze through dancing leaves. There is no other sound. I close my book of Frost's Poetry and lean back against the cool bark trunk. Closing my eyes I slip into timelessness. Alone with my thoughts, a solitary traveler on the road to who knows where. Nobody here to rush me , to chatter nonsense in my ear. Only Mother Nature. watches on, but leaves me to my gorgeous wanderings. To be alone sometimes, is to be completely free...
