Alone
I try to tell them— Tell them that I'm misunderstood. No one gives me time to explain myself, To explain what I truly mean. Sometimes, I need to take large about of times, To fully understand my thoughts, And reflect on myself— My emotions, My thoughts, The event that happened. I end up feeling like I don't belong in this world, Like I'm from another dimension, Destined to be a loner, In a hostile world. I walk around, Familiar with my surroundings, Yet, lost. Most times, I know exactly how I feel, But I don't know how to explain myself, In words. Sometimes, my own friends don't understand me, And I feel alienated. And I feel alone. Sometimes, my own friends ignore me, Like, we're strangers. And I'm invisible. And a noone. And they judge me, Just like everyone else. They never give me time to speak, And they never try to understand me. And I feel trapped, In my own little world. I walk on my own lane now, Questioning my relationships, Wondering what's so good, About friendships, And the joy they bring.
