All of You
How can I take you all in? The world is vast, teeming with stories, dreams, and sorrows. And I want to absorb every fragment, every flicker of light and shadow, but it overwhelms me. I want to understand, to feel what you feel, and to carry it with you. But how can I, when the more I try, the more I reach out, the more I realize that I am small, fragile, and human. That my arms can never fully be enough to hold you. How can I take you all in when I’m scared that one day I might forget the way your smile reaches your eyes, or the sound of your name whispered in the night? When I have wanted nothing more in life than to carry your dreams, cradle your fears, and keep your laughter in my chest where it can echo forever as your pain bleeds into my veins. Every word you speak, every breath you take, it reverberates through me, shaking me to my bones. I look at you and see a universe I can't possibly comprehend, let alone hold close. You are so much, so infinitely much, too beautiful, too terrifying, and I am just me? Struggling to make sense of the chaos and beauty that is you. And yet, I can't stop. I can't stop reaching, yearning, hoping that one day, somehow, I might come close to taking you all in.
