All Laced Up
All Laced Up by Jack A.S. Dunce Wear not a single teardrop. Such a precious pearl bead has no place in a send off to the great big race. I'm running a race to which I did not commit. The first few legs I ran well with decent splits. But on my shoelace, I tripped; my legs got hit. Despite all my grit, this last strech I choose to quit. A quick exit tag pass, I embrace -- all laced up to go West at my pace. Wear not a single teardrop. ©️pgmr 01/26/2024
