All I Ask
Just two very long lives is all I ask and our love to always last as in our present and our past. One for you and one for me, to be with you in heaven's light for as long as you and I will be: In the morning and the night, to be your partner in your sight. Our love's been true for fifty years. We've stood fast against our fears. Kiss me good morning, kiss me good night; we'll be happy, and we'll be alright. All will be well, whatever befalls us, no one can tell. When you are ready, we will begin to hold it steady, and in the end, a kiss from your lips will make it all fine; heavenly blessing, sweetness divine.
