all hope abandond
In shadows deep where lost dreams creep, And echoes of despair softly weep, A gate stands grim, where dark winds sweep, "All hope abandoned, ye who enter here." The chisel'd stone and sulfur's breath, Mark the entrance to this realm of death, Where all light fades, and souls bereft, Face the void that devours cheer. Through corridors where anguish roams, And specters find their hollow homes, There lies a silence, chilling, numb, A silence where no comfort comes. The river’s wail, the endless night, Consumes the weary, quenches light, And in its depths, despair takes flight, "All hope abandoned, ye who enter here." No solace found, no refuge near, In this forsaken, haunted sphere, The heart may falter, cower, steer, Yet the words remain, forever clear.
