Aftermath of Silent Suffering
I've been thinking about writing another poem on the topic of love or maybe one about my exhaustion but I can't seem to put my thoughts into words when doing it individually so I'm writing them together I'm so tired and I know it's a cliche but I am, I really am. Of what? I'm not sure; everything? There's so much I'm feeling but so little that I'm expressing. I'm hurting and trying to heal but these wounds just won't close Recently, I had been thinking about when we met. it's weird to me how I knew her before then but she didn't know me until way later. The moment I fell but for her it was just another Friday morning I have this curse which is also in its own way a blessing. I remember random things so well, experiences stored in my head so vividly. The drawback is that I tend to forget things I learn, or do quickly I love that I remember the way she leaned her head on my shoulder and fell asleep so peacefully but the burden of overthinking saddens me when I wonder if she remembers too, or if it meant nothing to her No one likes responsibilities but I absolutely hate them I don't want them, I want to grow up just to escape the ones I have but then I'll just be stuck with different ones so what's the point.
