After Thumb
Laying down A year, four months and 22 days After you left. How it's going... We look like a family. l believe it's a home you would love. We are all working on ourselves. Your name sends shivers down our spines We don't say it but we all see it. Ma still mixes up our names and yours is still there. How l'm doing... I thought I was good But naah it still hurts It's like a wound bandages whose blood still finds a way to get out. With tears rolling down my eyes. I miss you so much Thoughts on it.... The signs you would leave early Someone would say it was clear. But can you blame us No matter how bad our days went Death was still unreal to us. No matter how hard it got We were used to getting out of it But this time was different. A burden being lifted slowly Hits back with so much intensity. We never know the last So we never make the most out of it The last l remember of you is not our last. Finally... I don't know the future for the family But it's one foot before the other right With you gone death became real to us. We used to be " the hand" Now we are a concealer palette with four major colours. The snores we would do everything to hear them again. Wishes π. We love you
