After All This Time
Even after all this time, it’s still him. The one I saw across the room in 2016, a fleeting moment etched in the fabric of my memory, like a star that fell but never faded— a story that never began. His presence, a quiet storm, lingers in the corners of my mind, where time stands still, and the past whispers softly, reminding me of what once was— or what could have been. I watched him from afar, a star I could never reach, his light casting shadows on my heart, etched in the silence of what might have been. Years have passed, yet his name still whispers in my thoughts, a ghost of a dream I never held, a love I never touched. I’ve walked through seasons, watched the world change, yet his shadow remains, a silhouette painted in the hues of longing. Even now, in a room full of light, my eyes search for him, as if he’s the only constellation I know. Even now, after all this time, it’s still him. The one who got away, the one who never stayed, the one I never had.
