**A Tale of Hunger and Gold** In the shadow of huts, the earth lies cold, Where diamonds and gems are traded for gold. Not the gold that glimmers with worth, But the kind that fills a hungry earth. A man with riches in his hand, Exchanges them for a meal so bland. A bucket of food, a fleeting feast, For treasures deep from nature’s beast. The other, with a smile so wide, Hides the truth of a cruel divide. For what’s a gem in a world so cruel, When hunger's bite turns wise to fool? The hands that once dug deep in earth, Now tremble for the food's worth. What cost is life when wealth is near, Yet out of reach, but oh, so dear? In this image, stories are told, Of power, greed, and souls once bold. A history stained in hunger’s plight, Where gold was swapped for a bite.
