Everyone says I'm practically an adult My body and mind But I have a secret I'm not I'm still that 6 year old girl In love with her stuffed animals And nervous of people I'm still that 10 year old girl Loves to listen to music And is learning to not mind the dark I'm still that 13 year old girl Wears nothing but hoodies and jeans And doesn't always eat I'm still that 15 year old girl Loves to day dream And celebrating birthdays in silence I'm just a 16 year old girl I still like all those things And I still suffer the same I am so close to being an adult So close yet so far I still go home and cuddle my stuffed animals
