Adult life be like
In a world where suits do abide, They live in boxes, side by side. From nine to five, their footsteps trod, But deep inside, they feel so odd. Their minds are trapped within a cage, Yearning for a more vibrant stage. Each morning brings a heavy sigh, With sadness painted in their eye. In tailored clothes, they blend and fade, The joy within begins to fade. Their dreams and passions put aside, For schedules they cannot abide. No laughter fills their hollow heart, As routine tears their souls apart. Within their box, they feel confined, A life of sorrow left behind. Oh, let them break free from this mold, To chase their dreams, both young and old. For life is short, and time won't wait, To break free from the box, it's not too late.
