Addressing you, again
The wave of nostalgia that washes over me, as I listen to songs from the time we were together, is phenomenal. It's electrical and makes my body urge into motion, and then it comes to a still as the memory remains exactly what it is - something from the past, a bittersweet feeling. I'm taken back to the colour of the trees, the sun pinching my eyes softly, the chatter of the birds and the taste of the air, the memory bleeds into others. Just a fragment in a large collective, yet still I see you through a microscope, you mattered, so thank you.
