ADDICTION
Always have I been left feeling worse that before I took the first toke, Days blurred into nights as time seemed to slip through bony fingers like fine sand, Damned to the only hell that exists, the inner prison that spreezes till my heart is broke, I burn from the inside from all the lies I dealt from my own head, Caught between the waves of relief and tides of lost hope, Torn from the inside knowing that I don't want to quit yet I know what would be better instead, I fail yet again with little left of my thinning rope, On the verge I find myself alone yet again as I've always been Never will I return to normal, for that, I've lost all hope
