I take a sip, it's only a start. "Just one" I say soon enough it tears me apart one becomes two, then ten I can't stop a bottle per night, my only friend the world gets blurry I lose my grip and slowly sprial into a lifelong trip the urge to drink becomes a need a monster I can no longer feed I fear the day I hit rock bottom I fear I won't last long
