Across The Divide
The night breathes deep and in its loving shroud, I feel the endless ache, where your form is not allowed. My skin, it still sings, with the ghost of your command, A silent tremor of need, Wrought by your hand. Each shadow whispers secrets, Forgotten tales of your grace, The ancient power hidden there, Behind your ever haunted face. I trace your absence on the air, Without your fire, all is cold, A story whispered, in the dark, Of passions never fully told. This hunger in my blood, It's as restless as the tide, For the raw emotion that we share, Exposing all of that we hide. I yearn to taste your naked shame, To feel your wild nature left untamed. Come, lay claim to the darkness That festers within my aching core. Feed on the violence that grows where only your touch has come before. The edge of longing, renders me undone. My soul, my flesh, my war, my setting sun. I miss the primal hunger in your gaze, The intimacy that is our way. My Master, Lover, King of my domain, Know in this silence, I cry out your name. You are the depth no light can truly fill, The shadowed beauty to my yielding will. And as the moon draws forth the ocean's plea, My darkest love, I'll bleed for thee.
