Aching, sleeping high
grey skies, promising the fall strikes endless terror like a waiting high of a drug freshly taken aching bones, creaking and weeping like trees with bark like stone as the air presses and squeezes and crushes joints, cups, bones, fingers, knees, necks a tightened soul a visitation for seemingly no cause Tense yet calm, pained yet peaceful thank all above it is, then. that I am drawn more to sleep than to pain on days like this
