Achilles
He was not just half my soul. He was the very essence of my being. He was the entirety of my will, the shines in my eyes, the lens through which I saw the world. He was the reason my stomach would flutter, the reason I woke up each morning. So anger can not begin to describe how I feel. The river will run red with Trojan blood and when the river begs me to cease the tainting of his waters, I will fight him until his banks run dry. And when I find Hector, his royal blood which stains the ground will be indistinguishable from that of a common man. Even as the gods beg me to return him, I will drag his corpse around the walls of Troy, around the grave of the man I loved to remind that filth of what he did. And until I'm escorted to Elysium, I will mourn my beloved Patroclus, cry until I run out of tears, scream until I have no voice. Only in death, when I have him in my arms will I be whole once more.
