Abyss

In my soul, a dark abyss resides A void of sorrow, where tears never subside Fear's cold grip holds me, in endless night A hopeless despair, that consumes all light My heart is shattered, in a million pieces lie A reflection of the pain, that I cannot deny The darkness surrounds me, a heavy, crushing weight A suffocating sorrow, that I cannot abate In this abyss of pain, I'm lost and alone A prisoner of depression, with no escape known My soul is drowning, in a sea of despair A sorrow so intense, it's hard to bear.
