Abuse
In shadows cast by cruel hands, Lies a tale of sorrow and pain, Whispers of abuse, where darkness stands, Leaving scars that forever remain. A soul once full of vibrant glee, Now shackled by wounds unseen, Each day a battle, a plea to be free, From the haunting nightmare's obscene. Words like daggers pierce the heart, A venomous tongue that never tires, Leaving bruises that tear apart, Leaving a spirit that hope expires. But amidst the ache beneath the skin, A flicker of strength starts to ignite, A fire within begins to begin, A will to escape the endless night. With each sunrise, a phoenix shall rise, From ashes of torment, it takes flight, A beacon of love it seeks to disguise, A survivor, ready to reclaim her light. For abuse may leave scars on fragile hearts, But resilience shall conquer the pain, The healing starts, as a new chapter imparts, A future where love shall always reign,
