absent heart
I must restrain my impulses and not give in to my intrusive thoughts. If I had the courage, my heart would abandon me right now. I would dig my nails into the skin of my bare chest, cracking carelessly, until I felt the warm touch of my pumping heart. Gently encircled by my fingers, I extract it from its habitat, beginning to squeeze it, slowly. Hypnotized by my caresses, little aware of the lack of space. The pleasant warmth fades and the gentle cold appears, peace, the end.
