Abandoned by Family
resetyourminddaily@gmail.com I hate how my family abandoned me Left me alone, lost in the sea Of emotions and despair, I cry Wondering why they said goodbye Their faces fading in my memory A ghostly presence, a silent plea For understanding, for a reason why I was left to wither and die Concrete walls surround me now Echoing the pain, the sorrow somehow Invisible chains bind me tight Keeping me from the light I scream into the void, the empty space Hoping to see a familiar face But they are gone, never to return Leaving me in darkness to burn Betrayed by blood, betrayed by kin A heart full of anger, a soul full of sin I curse their names, I curse the day They chose to walk away In the shadows I now dwell A broken shell, a living hell Haunted by the echoes of their laughter A cruel reminder of what came after I hate how my family abandoned me Leaving me to face my agony Alone in a world so cold and gray I'll carry this burden every day But deep within this darkness lies A flicker of hope that never dies The strength to rise above the pain To rebuild, to start again For in the end, I am not defined By the family that left me behind I am more than the sum of their deceit I am strong, I am complete
