Where the world is loud, the notebook brings The world out there is way too loud, It rushes by, a busy crowd. Most people miss the quiet things, Or hide the pain that living brings. But writers see the world a part, And capture life inside their art. They put the day upon the page, Far from the crowd and noisy stage. For those who do not write, it seems Like empty words and foolish dreams. But every poet knows the truth: A notebook keeps a lasting youth. They write down everything they feel, To make the messy days feel real. Without the book, without the ink, A writer has no space to think. So let the world go by so fast, The writers find their peace at last. A simple page, a little peace That’s where the heavy feelings cease.
