Parents yearn for safety, for bulletproof shield, While tiny coffins leave hearts forever sealed. We battle as enemies, ignoring our kin, Forgetting the power that lies within. We bow to a corrupt government's sway, Masked and confined, we've lost our way. Amidst a president's laughter, in dire times, Does no one hear the cries, the anguished chimes? Opinions fly, but listening is rare, In a world of despair, where empathy's scarce. This is a sad world, where hope seems dim, But let's strive for change, let's truly listen.
