A warrior in her own way
I didn’t think this is where I would be, Floating down the river patently. Searching for answers I’ll never find, But that depends on time. They say you grow up too fast, Truthfully I just live each day like it was my last. But no one has ever felt my pain, just trying to live in my own way. I praise God for every scar, struggle, and fight They have made me strong through the night. All the lies told, has turned me into gold. “Your an inspiration they say”, but I’m just trying to live my day. “The devil can't stop me” is imprinted on my wall But I thought faith was too tall. Now who do I turn to? Where do I run? Waking up to the rising sun. A share or two on the internet, Leads finding people from the alphabet. Changing lives and sharing dreams, is not what I would think I'd see. “I have never seen a 17-year-old in my office” Those words are not for the faint of heart Yet those words tore me apart As I stand as a mystery, I can't even think of my history. I know God has my back, So why does the world attack?
