a walk with Enoch
In days of old, in fields so green, There lived a man named Enoch, serene. He walked with God, so pure and bright, His heart aglow with heaven’s light. Enoch walked upon the earth, And saw its beauty, its endless worth. For many years, he walked with grace, Toward heaven’s gate, he set his pace. Through stormy days and darkest nights, Enoch pressed on towards the light. His faith unwavering, his heart so true, He journeyed far, the heavens in view. One day, as Enoch walked the land, A voice from heaven he did command. “Come home,” it said, “to dwell with me, For in my kingdom you shall be.” So Enoch’s footsteps took him high, Above the clouds, he soared the sky. To God’s embrace, he did ascend, A life well-lived, a journey’s end. And so we honor Enoch’s name, His spirit strong, his faith the same. May we too, in life, so strive, And walk with God until we thrive.
