A voice That Can Speak
I have always been quiet, shy, afraid to speak, afraid to share my thoughts cause they Felt heavy like unbroken waves trapped inside me. Each time I tried, tears came before words, and the world told me I was too soft, too small, too much like someone else. I often broke down in silence, unable to even express how I felt to myself. Searching for someone who would always listen to all I had to say, was one big task that felt nearly impossible. Every step I took felt deeper, every voice meant for me felt weaker. No one could understand, not even me. Behold, it was time for the world to hear my voice. Wasn't sure how or when, but I knew I needed to go for it. So I picked up my pen and my paper, wrote down how I felt, word by word, as if I was communicating with someone who finally understood me. Now, a year has passed and that little gesture turned into a great path. That great path turned into a very great voice that can never be silenced again. That little shy boy now has a voice of his own, ready to speak to anyone. And Still I'd write, through every heartbeat, through every thought, through every up's and down's, still I'd write.
