A TWIST OF TIME
I met with my younger self one day, A curious encounter, in a most unusual way. We sat and talked, and laughed with joy, Two versions of me, a strange contrast. My younger self, with eyes so bright, Asked questions and listened with all our might. I shared my wisdom, gained through the years, And calmed her fears, and wiped away her tears. Together we reminisced about joys and strife, And I realized I've grown, but still, I'm life. My younger self, with heart so pure and kind, Reminded me to leave my worries behind. Our meeting ended, but our memories stays, A reminder to cherish each passing day. For though we grow, and change, and roam, Our essence remains, a constant guiding tone.
