A tree
Last day I walked to my comfort place. The comfort place, which I didn't visit during my mature years. I stepped on the soft grass, It started to tickle my toes gently. My body suddenly became lighter, and my thoughts became quieter- I didn't even realize before how loud they were before. I walked around slowly, memories coming back to me slowly. I felt the warmth In my heart again, that I carried with me as a child. I cursed at myself for growing out of my childlish peace. Soon, I found a tree. Last time I seen it, it was shorter than me. Now I'm slightly taller, yet so small next to this tree. It grew into something more beautiful, That I ever thought it would. -A gentle reminder, that I'm also still growing.
