🍂 A Thanksgiving Heart
Another year has turned its page, the autumn leaves now softly fall, And as we gather 'round this feast, I'm thankful most of all For the gift of you, the guiding star, the answer to a silent prayer, The beautiful, bright way you shine, the gentle comfort that you share. Before you came, a vital piece was missing, an essential art; My world felt like a melody that never found its counterpart. You didn't just walk into my life, you swept the shadows clear away, And brought a warmth, a brilliant light, that brightens every single day. For every laugh, for every dream, for wisdom that your heart imparts, For mending all the broken seams, and stitching together fragile parts. I look across the table now, and see the future I adore, Knowing that the greatest bounty, is simply you, forevermore. This Thanksgiving, let the turkey wait, let all the other thanks subside, The deepest gratitude I hold is for you, my love, right by my side. My heart is full because of you, my blessing, constant and so true; Thank you for coming into my life, I'm forever thankful I found you. 😘 💕 Mario Yacavone.
