A tale Lost Friendship
In laughter's echo, we once danced free, Close as kin, as friends should be. But winds changed course, and you withdrew, Leaving me in a world askew. Your absence weighs, a heavy stone, In my heart, I feel alone. The pain of being pushed aside, A wound that's hard to hide. The memories cling, like morning dew, Yet without you, they feel untrue. A best friend lost, a gaping space, Leaves tears unseen upon my face. I long for times when we would talk, But now, it feels like I must walk A path alone, with shattered trust, A friendship gone, turned into dust. Though sadness reigns, and tears may fall, I'll cherish what we had, through it all. Hoping someday our paths align, Until then, I'll mourn the lost sunshine.
