A Tale
Have I ever told you the story of an elder brother? Fascinating how they never judge you when you least expect it. They watch you grow through your worst and your best with the brightest of smiles and the heaviest of hearts. They could get stung for days, but they'll never let you know how the burdens of life weigh mightily on who they are. Many have given up their youth and innocence just in the name of responsibilities. Yet they'll give their lives even more for the path they've created, and they are sure will work for the others, even if they don't know it's invasive and annoying. They'll never see you for the flaw but for what you should have done differently. I wonder what runs through their minds when the thought of vulnerability arises because I'm sure it's anything but being vulnerable. The strength they carry outweighs nations. It's lovely to be in their light, but that also feels invasive when it's not voluntary.
