A STRANGER IN THE NIGHT
In the stillness of the evening air, There lies a shadow, quiet and unseen, No name,no face,no whispered dreams, A shadow, rare and scarce, A soul unmarked by time or scars His steps murmur, like distant dreams, His eyes reflect, the streets unseen, No footprints left,no trace to find, A traveller,or so he seems, Lost between a world unmarked, He moves without care, As if the night is his to devour, Chasing something ,none can see, Who are you,a ghost of life? Or a whisper of death? A stranger who slips through the night, With nothing to show, He fades into the deep, Where stars sing their praises, To a master unmasked Is he the night?or merely the evening sky? For in his bitter smiles, Hides the unforgotten secrets, Of a journey with no end, Who was this stranger passing here? A stranger in the night, who knows? A stranger with no face,no name, The world sleeps, but hearts ignite, Charmed by the stranger in the night
