"A Stranger I once knew"
You were the light of my world, My entire world itself. Your colors shined so brightly it was hard to turn away, Your presence itself I couldn't dismiss. Yet even under all those bright colors, something always seemed amiss. Every time I tried to feel your warmth, even for a long time, I was met with nothing but coldness...from my side. You were my light, once upon a time. Someone I thought I'd never forget. Yet here we are now, standing side by side. I do not recognize you anymore. You're a stranger in my eyes. Although I knew you, once before. Now, all that's left between us is the memories, the memories being cast aside. It's funny, really. I used to hold you up so high, and now, we are nothing to each other. It used to be you and me, together... But now, it is only me.
