A stranger came.
That night visit, a stranger came. Bloodied from anguish, Pressure in his gaze. I ran to hide in the darkest parts, Away from his embrace. He chucked me in his arms, Fingers crawled over my hem. The heavens cried for my escape, I left my soul into the air. I refused to be betrayed, So I died in the moment there. As my soul leaves this realm, I looked down to see my lifeless form, Still, it was defiled, a cruel torment, Tears welled up as I watched in despair, Remembering my father's constant care. He sheltered me, I fought for freedom's taste, Now alone, I faced the world's cruel waste. His tear-streaked face haunts my final flight, Wishing I had never left his sight.
