A Stary Night Sky
Sitting in the grass, the moon reflecting off the dew as the breeze makes the blades dance gently back and forth. I shiver, goosebumps lining my arms and legs, the wind chilling me the sun isn't here to protect me from the cold. But I don't mind, huddling in on myself with my gaze fixed towards the sky. I'm used to the stars by now, so their beauty is taken for granted. Their shine across the night sky, thousands of tiny white dots in a sea of darkness, used to bring me wonder, used to bring me awe but now, I only feel alone. a meaningless dot across an infinite field of unknown and excitement and beauty....... and wonder. As a tear slides down my face, I wonder if it reflects any starlight.
