A Soul Unsettled
My heart sinks low, like a stone in the sea Heavy with emotions, that I'm struggling to free My mind crushed by the weight of my own heartache As I search for a way, to ease this heartache's strain Tears won't fall, though I'm drowning inside No words can express, the emotions I've tried to hide My soul feels hollow, a void that's hard to define A sadness so deep, it's like a never ending rejection But even in darkness, there's a spark of light A chance to heal, to find my way through the night To learn to let go, to release the weight I bear And find comfort in the knowledge, that I'll face brighter days Hold on to hope, dear heart, don't let it slip away For in time, the darkness will fade, and a new dawn will break the day.
