A Soul Unblessed.
This place, a facade of home, Familiar faces, yet I’m unknown. Endless noise, a suffocating haze, Traps around every corner, a constant daze. I walk on shattered glass, fragile and worn, The walls close in, my breath is torn. The rooftop weighs heavy, a crushing might, My heart races fast, in the dark of night. Thorns in my chest, a relentless pain, Poison in my veins, anxiety's stain. Every step, a test of will and might, Nowhere feels safe, no refuge in sight. Eyes upon me, judging and cold, Disappointment reflected, a story untold. I’m never enough, a constant refrain, A lost soul wandering, with no place to claim. No home, no hope, just endless space, A fragile existence, a fragile pace. I search for solace, a place to rest, But like a ghost, I’m forever unblessed.
