A Soul in Exile
I must somehow reset to a time when my emotions were one with my soul I am a battlefield within, my soul ravaged by opposing forces To forgive or not. Either is a perilous path. Not trodden by the faint of heart The latter is even more difficult to do. However, this is the path I must tread: forgiveness Yet we all know forgiveness does not equate to forgetting. I wonder how the saints accomplished such a feat. At peace one moment and in turmoil the next. My heart in anguish still from betrayal So I wonder if my heart ever be one with my soul once more, only time will tell I suppose
