"a snowy night"
Snowflakes dance, like diamonds bright A delicate kiss, on my cheek so fair Melting fast, in the winter's light Leaving a chill, that's beyond compare The air is hushed, in a silent sleep Snowflakes whisper, in a gentle tone The world is draped, in a white cloak deep A peaceful silence, that's all my own I breathe the crisp air, feeling alive A sense of joy, that my heart can't hide But then I think, of a love that's lost And my heart grows heavy, with a sorrowful cost Her greenish eyes, like a memory stay A bittersweet reminder, of a love that's gone away I'm left with longing, and a heart that's sore Wondering if I'm forgotten, forevermore In this snowy silence, I search for peace A calm that soothes, my troubled release But like the snowflakes, my heart remains cold A fleeting beauty, that's lost, forever to unfold. by Sofi g.m Dilawer
