A Smile, No Longer Borrowed
A lot of time has passed, But my mind has been avast. All my thoughts, still in the past. I see her in my dreams, I cant forget, it seems. Opposing ships across the sea, I meet your eyes, it couldn't be. A gam in passing, you look at me, Then a smile, you let it be. I look away and drown at sea. Now adrift at sea, On borrowed decks, unfree. Searching for the day, That I'm on shore with you once more. This time I'll smile, and let it be.
