A Small Gift
I left a letter here for you. It's small, yes. But remember the story of David and Goliath? A small boy and a giant, nothing like them was the same. Except one, they both felt. Felt love, hate, sadness, joy. Just like me or you. And if David can kill a titan with a stone, You can kill so many with a word or two. And that small gift of a voice, is the largest anyone will ever receive! And I don't mean the noise from inside your complicated machine of a body, I mean the artist's, putting so much pain and joy into each stroke of a pencil or brush, The poets who use a pen like a sword and a shield, but also a home, The musicians and singers, you put each time you got knocked down and the strength from your heart that replaced your lungs into a beautiful medley. A voice is not one thing. A voice is speech, yes, but it's also art, music, writing, fighting, and most importantly, you.
