'A small fragile thing'
Have you ever danced with seizures' wild sway? Felt encephalitis' fire, as it ravages the day? Embraced isolation's dark, and let it have its way? Or worn urticaria's scars, like tattoos that fade with each passing day? Have you ever wondered, why the world always seems to spin Out of control, leaving you lost, and locked within? Have you fallen into solitude, where shadows dance and play? And in that darkness, found a strange, and lonely way? I mind my own business, watching life's grand design A universe of wonder, where love and joy entwine I just want to smile at strangers, and wish them well on their way Is that forbidden, too? I'm not a stalker, just a soul who loves to see The beauty in the world, and the wonder that it brings to me I'm not the moon, or sun, just a small, and fragile thing But even I deserve to breathe, and let my spirit sing So let me watch, and let me smile, and let me breathe For in the beauty of the world, I find my own release I'll cherish every moment, and hold them dear to me And in the solitude, I'll find my own wild liberty.
