A Slumber Weary
Exhausted! Exhausted! I feel weary, A weak feeling, something eerie, If I sleep well tonight, There will be able-bodied life, A man insomnia has breathe, This soul I wearily do keep, That once again I will respect, All if not for feel like I have kept, A simplest token of rest unspoken, Falls from my eyes like scales hoping, Though I sleep have found good, I all weary of these things could, Make sure then a little better, A bed of blankets softly weather, Sit here waiting formality gave, That upon the nighttime aide, A softer pillow is meant for strain, Amidst the agony of one's pain, To seek belongs to lonesome aims, I do accept my sad demise brave!
