A Silent that Screams
In the depths of my soul, a voice whispers low A cry to express, but words refuse to flow A longing to share, but fears hold me tight A burden to bear, through the dark of night I search for a listener, a heart that can hear But found none to echo, my deepest fear I'm lost in the shadows, with no guiding light Digging myself deeper, into the pain of night Memories haunt me, like ghosts in my mind A maze of emotions, where hope is left behind I yearn for a respite, a ray of hope to shine But like a fleeting dream, it vanishes in time Still, I hold on to the thought, of a brighter day A moment's peace, before the pain finds its way A temporary solace, a brief reprieve from the ache A ray of hope that flickers, but never stays.
